This very special image is of a Wisconsin, USA local landmark restaurant
now gone. Reminiscent for some of Edward Hopper's 1942 oil painting,
"Nighthawks", this Kodachrome image captures a moment typifying the
traditional American small town cafe on a rainy night in 1987. The
restaurant operated for decades in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, USA under the
"Hanny's" family name and was recently sold out of that family. The greatly
renovated building still stands and is now known as "Medusa". It is being
operated by another local restaurateur offering a gourmet Mediterranean
cuisine. All original aspects of the Hanny's cafe were eliminated by the
renovation.
Camera and film: Pentax Spotmatic F with standard lens and Kodachrome 64
film. Exposure was not recorded.
Litho Poster Print: Full color 18" x 24" litho on 80# Gloss Cover Stock with
varnish. Printing Press: Two-color 40" Heidelberg Sorsz, two passes.
Price: $19.95 plus $5.00 S&H. Standard mail in 3" tube. Signed and numbered
